We've had some lovely sunny but chilly days this week, giving Lizzie and I good reason to walk along the beach and also Parksville's wonderful seawall walk right in the heart of our town. Lizzie naturally finds the boardwalk the ultimate walk as so many other dogs are doing likewise! So many wonderful spots to sniff and mark!

After dropping Lizzie off back at the beach house, I enjoyed a delicious bowl of soup at a favourite stop, the Pacific Brimm Coffee Shop right up from the boardwalk.

It's windy with rain and I'm by my fire watching waves slam into the bank and bellow up splashing onto my lawn. Seems to be a favourite scene for both gulls and eagles as they explore the tasty debris brought in with this thundering surf. 
Best kinda' day for soft music and a good book!

Mine is now a world of sights and sounds.......lapping waves,stunning sunsets, wailing gulls , barking sea lions and the urgent call of perching eagles. I am at peace....  a happy resident of Parksville, a seaside community on Vancouver Island.
